About GAMH (Glasgow Association for Mental Health)

We are the Glasgow Association for Mental Health, also known as GAMH. We are here for people in Glasgow who are working on their recovery from mental health issues.

Each week, we provide over 2,000 hours of mental health support for Adults, Young People, and Carers. From our community hub to our specialist Compassionate Distress Response Service (CDRS) and one-to-one support, GAMH is helping people live for today and tomorrow.

We aren’t a replacement for your GP (Doctor), social work services or a counsellor. What we do is different. The GAMH team offers a listening ear, compassionate support, and practical guidance. We know life can be hard, but we also know that recovery from mental health problems is possible.

You and your mental health come first at GAMH. That means your choices and your goals shape our support and how we help you day-to-day.

Get help with your mental health recovery. You can also get involved with GAMH or support the work we do.
