Whether you are looking for emotional support and advice, training for your role as a carer, or a funded break from caring to recharge, GAMH is here to listen, guide and support you.

Carers can often be so busy looking after someone else that they forget to look after themselves. GAMH helps provide funded breaks for Carers through initiatives like Time to Live and Respitality. These breaks offer the chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy time away from your caring role.

These opportunities are open to unpaid carers aged 16 and over who live, or look after someone who lives, in Glasgow.

Caring brings challenges. Carers can be faced with challenges that they may not have come across or don’t immediately understand.

GAMH provides training to help you feel more confident and better prepared as a Carer. Training is also a chance to take time out for yourself, meet other carers, and share experiences in a safe and understanding space.
