Comprehensive training, including recognised vocational qualifications, and ongoing professional development opportunities are central to our approach. That’s why GAMH operates a funded Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQ) programme. We are also proud to be an SQA-accredited learning centre.
Every member of the GAMH team completes our Preparation for Practice Award. This award helps support the learning needs of the social care workforce. It ensures new team members learn about our values, policies, procedures and ways of working.

*Seven weeks of annual leave is only available to full-time GAMH employees. Annual leave for part-time employees is provided on a pro-rata basis.
