Join the Glasgow Association for Mental Health community
GAMH provides services and opportunities to promote good mental health and wellbeing. Our feedback shows that people who chose to be supported by us often experience positive outcomes which are sustainable and life enhancing, both for the supported person and often for their carers and family.
How you can support our work
If you would like to fundraise or make a donation you can contact us directly by email on firstname.lastname@example.org calling 0141 552 5592.
We also accept donations via the online fundraising site Just Giving. You can make a secure one-off donation or a regular monthly donation.
I have been able to value, respect and build my self-esteem through my support twice each week.
My brother’s life has changed dramatically. He is now more confident and chatty. His social life has greatly improved and he is much less depressed. He now takes more interest in his appearance and has made new friends. His health has improved overall.
I suffer from agoraphobia. Being involved in GAMH Our Histories has given me the confidence to travel on my own – I have been brought out of my shell. I come here every week and meet people, talk to people and I’m part of something important. I had lost my trust in people but coming here has given me trust in people again.
Help us make a difference
GAMH are always looking to recruit a wide and diverse range of volunteers who can bring their own knowledge, skills and experience to a variety of volunteering roles providing creative support to individuals and to the organisation.
