Carol Heron  – A Tribute

Carol Heron was a wonderful person who worked tirelessly for most of her adult  life promoting the rights of people with mental health problems. In her long career in social work Carol  brought remarkable insight and intelligence to encourage Glasgow’s  mental health service responses to be inclusive , accessible and most importantly to be based on the voiced needs of people with lived experience of mental health.

Carol was a dear friend and past Trustee of GAMH bringing valuable skills and experience to our Board, she  was passionate about our values, always encouraging us to put the people we support at the heart of everything we do, and she will be sorely missed by us all.
